These posts are 28 hours per week and permanent roles, (0.8 FTE).

About the role:
We are looking to appoint a lecturer in Physics, Biology and Chemistry in which the role will be based in the Science Department in the Centre for Applied Sciences on our Angel campus.
We are looking to appoint the following:
A lecturer in Chemistry to teach on the Level 2 Gateway & L3 BTEC Applied Science study programmes for 16-18 year olds. Units on the Applied Science Level 3 RQF will include Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Practical Science Procedures & Techniques.
A lecturer in Physics to teach on the Level 2 Gateway & L3 BTEC Applied Science study programmes for 16-18 year olds. Units on the Applied Science Level 3 will include Electrical Circuits, Energy Changes and Medical Physics. On Level 2 the units will include Energy and our Universe and Applications of Physical Science.
A lecturer in Biology to teach on the L3 BTEC Applied Science (RQF) study programmes for 16-18 year olds. Units on the Applied Science Level 3 RQF will include Microbiology, Biomedical Science and Principles of Science II (Biology)
The appointed Lecturers will complement and strengthen our existing teaching range with the relevant experience in teaching to 16-18 years old up to level 3. Applicants for these posts should demonstrate that they either hold or are willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification. You will be used to maintaining professional and quality standards, and keeping high quality documentation.
Applicants for these posts should demonstrate evidence of either a Degree in Chemistry, Degree in Biology, Degree in Physics or a relevant subject (which is most applicable to the role you are applying from the 3 above)
