Central Saint Michael’s Sixth Form College is changing the face of A Level provision in Sandwell. Since opening in September 2012, the sixth form has grown to over 500 AS, A Level and Diploma students. We are based in a unique dedicated sixth form in art centre formally known as ‘The Public’ in the middle of West Bromwich. We are looking for an enthusiastic, well qualified and dedicated Lecturer in Criminology and Sociology to join us on a permanent and full-time contract. As part of this role you could also be expected to provide pastoral support to one or more tutor groups. The successful candidate would be expected to commence employment at their earliest convenience.
You will contribute to the development and delivery of our academic provision in Criminology and Sociology and related disciplines including associated academic operational responsibilities to ensure an excellent student experience.

Your excellent communications skills and knowledge will engage and motivate our students to achieve their full potential.
An academic background in Criminology and Sociology is preferred along with a recognised teaching qualification, (L5 or above). We are looking for an individual who not only has a great theoretical understanding of these subject areas and practices but also a willingness to share knowledge and expertise with our students to inspire them for future career development.
