Lecturer of Sociology – Fixed Term to 20th December 2019 (Crewe)
Salary range: £24,452 – £36,890 per annum
This is an exciting opportunity for an engaging and inspiring full-time Lecturer of Sociology to join our successful team and provide learners with an excellent learning experience to ensure they reach their maximum educational and developmental potential.
The successful applicant will have a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and possess a PCGE/Cert Ed (or equivalent) or be working toward. You will be an outstanding teacher with the imagination and ability to organise enrichment activities within the curriculum area linked to Sociology. You will be familiar with the course specifications and ideally have experience delivering Sociology up to A level. You will also possess the ability to adapt your teaching style to engage and suit the needs of learners to ensure excellent attendance and achievements. The opportunity may arise to teach other social sciences in particular Psychology, experience in this area would be advantageous but is not essential.
