Coventry College is looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Lecturer to cover our Access programme, who will can inspire our learners to achieve their full potential. We recognise that our lecturing staff are integral to the success of the College and student achievement.
This role will involve planning and providing high-quality teaching, as well as taking shared responsibility for the administration of a range of courses and levels delivered throughout the provision.
The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Science and a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards). A Level 3 qualification in Chemistry or Physics is desirable.
You will have experience of teaching a minimum Level 3 in Science within a teaching/training environment. Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for teaching, with an ability to motivate and inspire learners to succeed.
This role is part-time with 29.5 hours per week.
A flexible approach to working hours is essential. We have opportunities on either a full-time or part-time basis, please specify in your application your preferred number of hours. Job share arrangements will be considered.
