Warrington & Vale Royal College is
seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Assessor in AAT to deliver high quality teaching,
learning and assessment to ensure successful learner outcomes, and to manage,
review, assess and train a caseload of apprentices.
October 2019 the College was officially commended as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and we

Suitable candidates will hold a Level 5 qualification or above in
Accounting, an assessor award, a teaching qualification, and in-depth knowledge of relevant
apprenticeships frameworks and standards. A proven track record of industry
related experience is essential.
will also be given to applicants who are qualified accountants who do not hold
a teaching and/or assessor qualification. Through the Taking Teaching Further
programme, the College is able to recruit applicants with industry experience
to retrain as FE teachers. The programme will provide funding for the cost of
the teacher qualification and full mentor support, provided by the College.
