Learning Support Worker - SEMH (behaviour)
Term time only 31.5 hours (8.45am - 3.05pm except Wednesdays 8.45am - 4.30pm)
Pay range C1: £17,897 (approx.)

West SILC is an inspiring place to work and learn, where children are at the forefront of all decisions we make. We are looking for staff who want to contribute to all aspects of school life. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our school community in our specialist SEMH provision.
The qualities we are looking for include:
- Ability to relate well to children and adults and communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to deal effectively with students presenting challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques as appropriate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Knowledge and experience of behaviour management and restorative strategies
- Experience of working with secondary aged students with additional needs
- Having a driving license is desirable for this role.
