Level 2 Teaching Assistants

Salary: Grade 4 (Points 7—10)
£15,578 - 16,751 (Actual salary)
You will be working 30 hours per week for 39 weeks (term time plus one week outside school hours)
We are looking for enthusiastic, resilient Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistants with excellent interpersonal skills with vacancies across our three sites.
You will need to be committed to providing support to learners with a range of complex needs, be flexible in your approach and able to work as part of a team.
Applicants should have good literacy and numeracy skills. Understanding and experience of using Makaton, PECs and sensory approaches would be advantageous but not essential.
Previous experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable.

Ellesmere College provides education for up to 426 children and young people, from 4 to 19 years, with a range of moderate to complex learning difficulties.
This is a very exciting time for Ellesmere College as we continue to expand from 1 site to 3 sites. We have now settled into our Knighton Fields Centre and our Post-16 provision plans are in place for a new site. These additional sites provide bespoke educational opportunities for our Post-16 students and our students with the most complex needs, in particular those with communication and interaction difficulties including complex autism.
