This new post brings an exciting opportunity to join our well-established Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Team at Ashton Park and contribute to the continued growth and development of our supportive sixth form.
We are seeking an individual who will initially support our Post 16 students and inspire their learning and achievement. The successful candidate will be committed to promoting an effective independent learning culture, while assisting and advising students on strategies to improve their learning and study habits. They will also have a calm and reassuring disposition, be able to use their own initiative and be committed, flexible and hard-working.
You will be working with a range of young people, supporting all students in the sixth form study room, in lessons, on educational trips and delivering interventions in groups and one to one.
The initial focus for this role will be working with Post 16 students in our sixth form centre. However, this may change over time in order to meet the needs of students at Ashton Park School and the successful candidate should be prepared to work with a range of young people from years 7-13.
