College location: This is a College Group role that is predominantly based at John Ruskin College (Croydon) but with travel to East Surrey College (Redhill)
Salary: £25,535 - £28,719 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Marketing Officer to join our College Group Marketing department.
In this exciting role you will be responsible for designing and artworking (using Adobe Creative Cloud packages) College collateral and online visuals for internal and external communications within the Orbital South Colleges group. Working closely with marketing team members you will ensure delivery of clear and consistent messages in line with the College Strategic Plan and Corporate Brand Guidelines.
You will support the Marketing Manager on development projects, including co-ordinating internal departments to deliver requirements to deadlines, developing creative to ensure all elements are in line with the brand direction and presenting back to relevant departments for implementation. Materials include course guides, adverts, banners, newsletters, brochures, posters and online activity.
You will support College events, generating press releases for onward promotion to local communities and businesses. You will work closely with Curriculum and Support teams to produce customer-facing communication and will be responsible for copywriting and proof reading for all College materials produced.
The successful candidate must have:
•Proven advanced design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud packages (in particular Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
•Proven experience of managing and producing finished artwork and content for digital marketing and print
•Exemplary copywriting and proof reading skills
•Event management experience through to delivery
•A full UK driving license and have the willingness to use your own vehicle for work purposes
