Maths and English Administrator
1 FTE Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone / Usk & Pontypool Campus
Full time, 37 hours per week, fixed-term until 31st July 2020
Salary: £19,442 - £21,621 per annum
Coleg Gwent are looking for an organised and friendly administrator to join the maths and English Team. The Maths and English Administrator will provide a comprehensive and effective administrative support function to the team at a designated campus.
A focus of the role will be identifying and acting immediately with problems relating to learner attendance to maths and English lessons, liaising with Heads of School, personal tutors and parents.
You will need to possess good organisational and administrative skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. You should have good literacy and numeracy skills, be pro-active and a confident telephone manner. Experience of working with young people in an educational environment would be an advantage.
Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.
The ability to use the Welsh language at basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
