Maths Graduate Teacher
ACS International Schools is recruiting a Maths Graduate Teacher to join ACS, within our Cobham campus.

Key responsibilities:
- A core member of a Teaching Residency Team (T-Res), a tightly collaborative team of two Resident Teachers / Teacher Lead
- In addition to own classes/sections co-teaches, co-plans, supports, and observes in all Resident Teaching Team classes
- Teaches effectively to improve student achievement, demonstrating high levels of understanding and skilled application of accepted teaching standards
- Using pedagogical content knowledge, and teaching students how to apply their understanding to the world beyond the classroom
- Implementing world class practices in assessment, planning (including curriculum design) and instructional strategy
- Consistently differentiate for learning differences
- Create and sustain culturally responsive classrooms
- Lead to demonstrated learning results.
- Keeps timely and complete records, and reports student progress as required
- Supports school operations and learning beyond the classroom by supervising activities, leading extracurricular programmes and service, chaperoning educational visits, amongst other things
- Partners with parents to support students’ social and emotional development
- Ensures our values are embedded into every day practice.
- Exercise open and respectful communication with children, families, co-workers, supervisors, and all school service providers professionally, accurately and with a growth orientation

Start date: January 2023.
Working hours: Monday- Friday, 0830- 1530
Contract duration: This will be an 18 month contract.
