An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, learner-focused, inspirational individual to be involved in an exciting new venture at Barnsley College, taking on the role of Management Information Systems (MIS) Administrator in the Junior Apprenticeship Academy (Direct Entry). The college is introducing Direct Entry provision for 14-16 year olds from September 2019, where students who are enrolled will become full-time students at the college. The provision is aimed at young people who are not benefitting from school and are motivated by a more practical curriculum.
37 hours per week, permanent, 40 weeks per year (mainly term-time)
£17,198 - £18,162 actual salary
Post required for 2019/20 academic year
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an MIS, administration and clerical service to the department with the focus of helping to ensure accuracy of data to support decision making and facilitate compliance to college processes and procedures.
Candidates will be quality and target driven with experience of management information systems (MIS), experience within an educational establishment, excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, enthusiastic and professional.
