We currently have an exciting opportunity a Motor Vehicle Technicians to join our team Automotive team based at Trowbridge.
The main purpose of this role is to support the department by working with staff and students in the workshop environment, ensuring equipment and resources are available to support student learning. Within this role your main responsibilities will include giving demonstrations in the use of equipment, materials and techniques, setting up and dismantling workshop assessments and ensuring that equipment is in working order ready for learning sessions. You will also be expected to maintain and keep up to date inventories and records of equipment and materials, provide support to students and keep the workshops and ancillary areas clean and in a fit and safe condition for use.
The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Motor Vehicle and recent relevant experience of the motor vehicle industry. This is a great opportunity to for someone wanting to experience the educational environment with further training available to support career progression.
