The Apprenticeships, Partnerships and Innovation (API) department at Newham College of Further Education is dedicated to helping local people and businesses prosper.
For 2019/2023, API is working in partnership with a range of other organisations to deliver over £3m p.a of employment and enterprise-funded projects such as ERDF, ESF, GLA and ESFA funded initiatives including the ESF/AEB funded Local London Skills Escalator programme. Focusing on the training needs of unemployed adults looking to find employment in the health and social care sector.
We are recruiting a Office Administrator to support us in this delivery: You will have good attention to detail and be experienced in a customer-facing role. You will be dealing with enquiries from visitors and by telephone and email. You will work closely with and report to the API Office Manager supporting all staff in the department ensuring that our administrative procedures are of high quality, are customer focused and professional. The role will be varied, as other aspects may include attending off site training/induction sessions and supporting events.
