We are seeking to appoint a permanent part time Teaching Assistant to Kingsweston School. The role is 2 days, 12.5 hours a week, term time only and we are able to accommodate Mondays and Tuesdays or Thursdays and Friday. The salary is Bristol Grade 8, actual pro rata annual salary range is £6,477 rising annually to £7,011 paid over 12 months.

Given the importance of the Teaching Assistant role we are looking for some core knowledge, skills and experience.
experience in working with children and young people with special educational needs
ability to work as part of a hard-working dedicated team, developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues at all levels
ability to work on own initiative and a willingness to contribute meaningfully to the team
commitment to further learning and development, being open to learn new ways of doing things and sharing your knowledge and experience with others

be resilient and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
and most importantly, an enthusiasm and willingness to acknowledge our pupils as precious, central to all we do, and hold great aspirations for them.
