Part-time Computing and IT Tutors
Part time Computing and IT tutors are being recruited by The Open University School of Computing and Communications.
Tutors are being recruited to both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The undergraduate programme covers subjects such as introduction to computing, object-oriented programming, project and service management, web technologies, artificial intelligence, cyber security and cloud technologies, amongst others.
Tutors should have a first degree in a related subject such as computing and IT, or have equivalent industrial qualifications and experience.
Our tutors will help students to study the module and module materials. Tutors will be required to mark assessments and offer comprehensive feedback. Tutors will also be required to facilitate online and face to face tutorials.
This role offers the flexibility to fit your teaching around other commitments that you already have.
Since the school has recently introduced a cyber security qualification, we particularly welcome applications from candidates who have a background in cyber security as prescribed by the Cyber Security Body of Knowledge (CyBoK).
