Part Time Lecturer in Security. Re-engagement. Sessional hours.
As a result of our continued success in delivering security training to unemployed adults, we are looking for inspirational tutors who have recent and relevant experience in delivering a range of security related qualifications as well as frontline security operational experience. This role will involve establishing and maintaining effective training, learning and assessment activities to record student progress.
You will develop lesson plans to meet individual student needs and deliver innovative sessions that motivate some of the most disadvantaged adults. You will need to have a flexible approach to working and the ability to prioritise your workload to meet assessment deadlines and timely completion of paperwork. You will teach a range of security related qualifications including Highfield Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry.
You will hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Delivery of Conflict Management Training (NQF / QCF / RQF) or equivalent as well as a minimum Level 2 in maths and English (GSCE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent). You will also have a full teaching qualification or be willing to gain the qualification.
Candidates will be expected to attend on-going training and development activities to maintain competence in teaching practice and the subject area.
This is a casual position with no fixed hours.
