Payroll Administrator. Human Resources. Part Time (26 hours per week). Permanent.
This post can be worked over 4 or 5 days all year round.
We are looking to appoint a proactive individual to join our Payroll team which is part of Human Resources. Providing a customer–focused service, you should enjoy working to challenging deadlines, using your initiative and possess the ability to establish and develop excellent working relationships with managers.
You will be responsible for providing a full payroll service, using iTrent payroll software with accuracy and efficiency to meet given deadlines. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and inputting payroll records. Previous payroll experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to handle queries and provide a high level of customer service, providing advice and guidance on payroll matters to line managers. You will also support the wider HR team by answering routine queries on HR and payroll policies and procedures. The team you will be joining has a strong customer focus and you should bring a “can-do” attitude.
Excellent time management, customer service skills and high levels of attention to detail are all essential elements of this role. You will also have some experience of working in an administrative role and of using Microsoft Office and web based systems along with a Level 2 qualification in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent).
