Performing Arts Lecturer
(Part-time 0.8fte, Permanent)
We are an ambitious, forward-looking college with high aspirations for our learners. We are looking to appoint a Performing Arts Lecturer to join our successful Creative Arts Department by leading and teaching across our study programmes at BCA. This role is part-time working 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday).
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and versatile lecturer with a proven track record at FE level.
The successful applicant will have the ability to deliver a range of disciplines and will have a collaborative approach to working with other Creative Arts staff and students. Applicants should have experience of working with Level 2 and 3 vocational learners.
Responsibilities will include course leadership, student recruitment, quality assurance, progress tracking, planning, teaching and assessing students. You should have a relevant qualification and experience of teaching in a classroom setting is desirable but we also welcome applicants from industry or similar fields.
We are looking for an adaptable, resourceful excellent communicator, who will be able to work as part of a team and have strong IT skills.
