Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council Music Service is looking for a committed, enthusiastic musician and Teacher of Singing who would be able to motivate, inspire and communicate with pupils of all ages and abilities in a variety of educational settings are welcome to apply.
Post-holder essential requirements:
• A degree or graduate diploma in music
• Experience in teaching Singing in 1-1, large group and whole class/school settings
• Team worker
• Be receptive to new ideas
• Full driving licence and access to a car
• Enhanced DBS
• EWC registration
• All new Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council post holders are required to undertake a 10 hour online Work Welsh course prior to taking up their position
Post-holder desirable requirements:
• Ability to offer alternative instruments/piano
• Curriculum Music class teaching experience
• Welsh speaker
• Teaching qualification
