Within this role you will teach up to LEVEL 3 standard and be able to contribute to other academic and vocational courses as well as having responsibility for the assessment / review and support of students on the Plumbing Apprenticeship Programmes.
You will be allocated a caseload of apprentices with a responsibility to ensure that the College meets its contractual commitments with external funding bodies.
You will hold a minimum of NVQ 3 or Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing along with an appropriate CCN-I, CENWAT ACS Gas Certificate. It would also be advantageous if you have an A1 or equivalent Assessor Award and have a teaching qualification up to level 5 or be working towards it.
As part of your experience, you will have an in depth knowledge of the subject specialism to teach on level 2 and 3 qualifications, with knowledge and understanding of course work requirements and assessment both in class and on-site.
