New Directions Education are looking for Primary Teachers to work with us from September 2021 on a supply basis for day-to-day and long-term positions in and around the Carmarthen area.
The ideal candidates will have excellent knowledge of the curriculum, thrive off helping their pupils to achieve their maximum potential, and have a range of behavioral strategies in place. We are looking to recruit both newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers, that want to work full or part time hours to work around other commitments you may have.
Your dedicated account manager will work together with you to find what placements will suit you individually and help you to build relationships with local schools. Supply is an excellent opportunity to experience a variety of schools and classes and many supply placements lead to long-term and permanent positions.
We recruit Primary Teachers for jobs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) Primary Teacher job roles.
As a Primary School Teacher you’ll be expected to:
Teach all areas of the school curriculum
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.
