The Cabot Learning Federation is a mature academy group in the South West. We currently sponsor eight secondary academies and eight primary academies, an all through provision, Digitech Studio School and a discrete Post 16 provision and an alternative provision which consists of one primary and two secondary phases.
King’s Oak Academy is a rapidly expanding all-through 4 to 16 academy based in Kingswood, Bristol. There are currently five year groups in our primary phase – Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 – with Year 7 through to Year 11 in our secondary phase. The children are excited to learn and are real ambassadors for our diverse community. King’s Oak Academy supports a hugely positive and supporting learning environment for all.
The key purpose of the Principal role in the CLF is, by providing dynamic and effective leadership to an academy, to secure high standards and its on-going improvement. This improvement will be articulated by a range of factors including, specifically, pupil outcomes and Ofsted judgements.
In this role, you will promote good and outstanding teaching that secures progress over time and enables students to achieve strong outcomes. CLF has a successful track record of performance delivery across its Academies; as Principal you will be able to seize the chance to make a real difference to the lives of the students and improve their life chances. You will have the drive and passion to lead Kings Oak Academy and accelerate improvement.
You will have a track record of success and bring a level of focus, precision and rigour that will have a substantial and sustained impact. Improvement will be based on an unswerving focus on teaching and learning and a strong commitment to collaboration within and beyond the Cabot Learning Federation.
