Programme Leader - Engineering (Technical Apprenticeships, Construction Plant)
Basis: 37 hours per week (Full-time), Permanent
Salary: £32,198 - £35,766 (L12 – L15)
Reaseheath College is one of the leading providers of Agricultural Engineering and Construction Plant training and education in the UK. Following an investment of £8 million we have state of the art workshops and equipment and are looking to continue our growth.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team, with expertise in the Construction Plant, Agricultural Engineering and Bus and Coach Engineering. Experience of Heavy Vehicle Engineering and other relevant industry knowledge would also be considered.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of working within an Engineering environment, ideally in a training or supervisory/managerial role in Further Education or the Land Based Engineering sector. Experience and knowledge of service, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of machinery systems would be advantageous. We are looking for excellent communication skills, flexibility of approach, excellent digital skills with an eye for detail and good organisational skills. This role is responsible for coordinating the further education agricultural engineering programmes, planning effective sequencing and delivery of technical content, supporting effective teaching and learning and line managing a team of tutors. It is a key position in the team, and has a significant impact on the quality of delivery for a significant number of students hoping to achieve their career aspirations in the agricultural engineering sector.
