We are looking for: Barbering Programme Tutor (0.5) Salary £11,873 - £15,021 per annum. (FTE £23,746 – £30,043)

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic barbering tutor, or barber who would want to extend their career into Further Education. Teaching and assessment qualifications would be an advantage, or a willingness to undertake them as a requirement of the job role. Being a half post, the role allows the flexibility for the candidate to continue working within the industry. The right candidate will need a high level of commitment to the role and to developing high level employability skills with our learners, together with the essential skills needed to be a confident and competent barber, able to meet the demands of the increasing skills range within this growth industry.
Primarily responsible for NVQ and VRQ delivery at level 2 and level 3, a thorough understanding of the underpinning knowledge together with an assurance to develop innovative techniques used to inspire a new generation of barbers.
