The Apprenticeships, Partnerships and Innovation (API) department at Newham College of Further Education is dedicated to helping local people and businesses prosper. For 2019/2023, API is working in partnership with a range of other organisations to deliver over £3m p.a. worth of employment and enterprise-funded projects such as ERDF, ESF, GLA and ESFA funded initiatives including the ESF/AEB funded London Skills Escalator programme focusing on the training needs of unemployed adults looking to find employment in the health and social care sector.
We are looking for an experienced projects finance and monitoring officer, demonstrating a strong track record of working with funding organisations such as the Education and Skills Funding Agency and the Greater London Authority.
The successful candidate will be financially minded and be responsible for compiling accurate claims to tight working deadlines. Essential to the post is fostering good working relationships with senior staff in funding agencies and in Newham College to ensure capture and maintenance of accurate information records.
You will work closely with the team’s manager and all API staff ensuring that our administrative procedures are high-quality, customer-focused, responsive and professional.
