0.5 LECTURER – HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE
18.5 hours per week
Salary: £10,010 - £18,318 per annum
The School of Care at the City of Newport Campus is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join the team.
The successful applicant will be required to deliver and assess on a range of courses (from Entry to L5) within the School of Care and will act as personal tutor for a cohort of learners. Relevant professional experience within Health and/or Social Care is essential. A formal teaching qualification and an assessor’s award (or the willingness to undertake these on appointment) are a requirement for this role.
Skills in teamwork, motivating and inspiring students, developing a learner focussed curriculum and the ability to continually improve the learning experience will be essential.
Welsh language skills will need to be learnt when appointed to the post.
