PTL GCSE Biology
Salary: £23.15 - £25.05 per hour plus holiday pay
Start Date: September 2019
Contract Details: 1 day per week (Thursday 6pm - 8:30pm)
We are looking for someone to deliver our GCSE Biology course in the evening. This course is on a Thursday and will be for 30 weeks.
- Contribute to any planning and preparation of the scheme of work in your subject so that it meets College and Team standards.
- Deliver learning through efficient and effective classroom and online management
- Monitor and assess learners’ progress and maintain up-to-date and accurate records in line with College policies and examining body standards.
- Undertake administrative duties associated with study programmes or learners, for example parental meetings, report writing, or other duties that might become necessary.
It is essential that you hold a subject related qualification at a minimum of Level 5 or subject related occupational competency, together with an appropriate teacher qualification or be on a teaching programme.
Level 2 Qualification in Literacy & Numeracy or prepared to gain if requested to do so.
We would expect you to have previous teaching/training experience delivering learning on qualification or vocational based programmes. You should also be able to evidence your experience of course planning, lesson planning, delivery and assessment methods.
