This is a speculative advert to seek interest from anybody who would like to join as a part time Hairdressing Lecturer in the new academic year 2019/2020
Salary: £23.15 - £25.05 per hour plus holiday pay
Start Date: September 2019
Contract Details: 1 evening a week
The Hair and Beauty team at New College sits within the HSBC Faculty and comprises a team of Academic Instructors, Lecturers, Support Staff and a Manager. We have an impressive record of achievement at all levels. Most of the team have a background in the commercial sector, which they use to enhance the student experience. You will teach across a range of VTCT Hairdressing TLQ and VRQ courses at levels 1, 2, 3.
It is essential that you hold a subject related qualification at a minimum of Level 5 or subject related occupational competency, together with an appropriate teacher qualification or be on a teaching programme.
You are required to have English and ICT at Level 2 or higher.
We would expect you to have previous teaching/training experience delivering learning on qualification or vocational based programmes. You should also be able to evidence your experience of course planning, lesson planning, delivery and assessment methods.
