Public Services Lecturer
College location: East Surrey College (Redhill)
Salary: £24,321 – £34,625 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Sports/Public Services to lead our Business & Professional Studies department.
In this exciting role you will be delivering teaching and learning across our Sports/Public Services provision across Levels 1-3.
Working closely with the Director of Learning, Programme Manager and the rest of the Business & Professional Studies team, you will have the chance to share your knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. You will act as a course leader for two full cohorts of students with multiple groups, promote attendance, participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development and review activities within your subject area. It is also essential that you contribute to open evenings, parent’s evenings and similar events as and when required.
The successful candidate must have:
•A full teaching qualification
•A subject specific qualification at Level 3 (although level 2 may be considered)
•A successful track record of teaching Sports/Public Services
•Knowledge/experience of relevant subject curriculum within FE is highly desirable
