Retention and Progression Tutor
0.8558 FTE (37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year)
£21,482 per annum (£25,102 pro rata per annum)
We are currently recruiting for a Retention and Progression Tutor (RAP) to join our friendly and professional team ready for the next academic year. This rewarding role enables you to support students through their college journey at Basingstoke College of Technology.
The main purpose of the role is to monitor attendance, punctuality and data on student progress towards attainment targets. Each Retention and Progression Tutor will be assigned a case load of students to support. RAP Tutors deliver relevant tutorial programmes to a cohort of students and work closely with departments within the College and external agencies to ensure students have access to all the support they need to ensure they achieve.
The successful candidate will be educated to Level 3 and have sound knowledge of the post-16 progression routes. This role requires excellent communication skills and confidence in giving group presentations.
