Salary: £16,558 - £18,532 per annum (£10,723.11 - £12,001.49 for the hours stated).

About the role
We are looking for a Salon Technician to join our Hair and Beauty team.
Our Hair and Beauty Department is looking for a self-motivated individual who has experience in a hair and beauty environment to join us on a part time basis at our Tonbridge campus.
As Salon Technician, you will provide technical support to the delivery of the hair and beauty curriculum whilst providing a first class, professional customer service to all users and visitors to the department. You will be able to liaise with teaching staff to ensure classrooms are set up ready for learning and commercial activities by providing the relevant products, tools and equipment. You will be responsible for the health, safety and hygiene aspects of the department as well as monitoring and maintaining stock.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate in depth knowledge of health and safety procedures relating to the industry. You will have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Having good IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, is necessary.
It is essential that you have Level 2 certificates (or equivalent) in English and maths.
