Term Time Only + 4 Weeks (40 weeks p/year)
We are in search for a Schools Link Mentor to provide support to our young students with their transition into College.
As post holder you will ensure the College meets the contractual agreements with schools by liaising closely with them and curriculum departments to maximise the retention and successful progression of 14-16 students. You will be required to participate in delivering personalised 1:1 or group sessions with identified students on a regular basis to ensure they are on target.
The successful candidate will hold literacy and numeracy qualifications at Level 2, and an appropriate level 3 qualification relevant to the role (such as Counselling, Youth Work, Mentoring, Social Work etc.). Experience of supporting young people with learning or behavioural difficulties is essential, and the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain good professional relationships with key stakeholders.
