Salary CAN scale point 17 (£18,166 actual, £20,881 full time equivalent) for 36 hours per week, term time plus 7 days (195 working days). Of the additional 7 non-term time working days, 2 days are directed time on staff training days to be worked at the start of the academic year. The additional 5 days are to be worked during school closure and arranged with the Science Team Leader.
To work within the Science department to provide general technician and curriculum support, as well as some support in practical science lessons. No specialist science knowledge is required, though a general interest in the subject and an ability to follow instructions relating to practical equipment/materials is required.
