JOB OVERVIEW
At Smart Education we are looking for a passionate tutor to deliver high quality tuition lessons while successfully supporting students to reach their true potential. As part of our energetic and welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while raising confidence, building strong positive relationships and promoting a love for learning for life long skills for all children who attend the centre. This role is a casual part-time teaching role, after school hours from 3.30pm - 6.30pm weekdays and 9.30am-3.30pm Saturdays. Days and times are negotiable and flexible to suit.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Flexibility including weekends and evenings (until 6.30pm)
To be able to quickly adapt and change teaching styles to accommodate varying needs of learners
To be able to confidently liaise with parents, colleagues and support agencies to ensure a positive working relationship to assist with the effective attainment of students
To be reflective and have the highest expectations of themselves and those around them
To have a “can do” positive attitude towards innovation and change
To be able to promote and build an ethos of celebration and praise where pupils strive for success by actively encouraging staff to promote rewards and achievements in their lessons and around the centre.
Encourage groups of learners/challenge learners to commit to the development of new improved attitudes to learning via modelling & mentoring
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
A detailed knowledge of the curriculum and its means of delivery
High standards of communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work towards deadlines
The ability to motivate both students and your peers
Highly motivated and enthusiastic
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Experience innovating to deliver the curriculum
Motivated to work independently and as part of a close knit team
