An exciting opportunity to join the teaching team at The Park Centre. The role is for a SEN teacher for young people aged 16-25 on a Towards Independence Course.
We are seeking an innovative, motivated, organised, flexible, hardworking teacher who is passionate about supporting young people to gain skills and knowledge and reach their full potential.
This is a varied and rewarding role within a welcoming and supportive community setting. The learners have a learning disability which can include autism and ADHD with barriers to learning such as anxiety, so the classes are relatively small with LSA support. You will be working in an environment which values independence, and which makes learning for life fun.
The team and the young people are wonderful to work with and it is a very rewarding position on offer.
If you would like to know more please contact Louise Hunt on 0117-3773669.
The Park is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We particularly welcome applications from under represented groups including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion.
