Senior Insight Analyst. Full Time. Permanent.
This is an exciting time to join our ICT team as we develop and improve our services. We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Insight Analyst who can look at data and deliver genuine insightful information in a user friendly format for all stakeholders.
You will bring strong analytical skills and an eye for detail, manipulate large datasets and quickly determine trends. Along with the ability to design and build creative and efficient reports and dashboards that use data to answer whatever question is being asked. You will also have experience of SQL and a wide range of analytical techniques. Ideally you will have some experience or exposure to digital analytics, as we need the role to support all our business functions.
Experience of writing complex queries in SQL along with developing in VB. Net/ASP. Net is required. You will either already be familiar with landscape of education sector data available through OFSTED and ESFA, or be able to demonstrate the ability to rapidly become so.
As a team player, you will build strong relationships with colleagues across the College, building your understanding of the data and systems landscape, developing our analysis and reporting work, and delivering deep insights to colleagues.
A relevant degree and or extensive experience of working with large complex datasets along with interpreting and cross correlating data to produce relevant executive insights and dashboards are also required. In addition you will have a minimum Level 2 in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent).
A Prince 2 Foundation or ITIL Foundation Service Management Essentials qualification is desirable.
