Location: Keynsham (near Bristol/Bath)
Contract: Full-time 37 hours per week
Term: Permanent, Term Time Only plus 2 INSET days
Wellsway Multi Academy Trust is at an exciting stage in its development. The Trust currently comprises of thirteen schools with more planning to join and is moving towards its vision of being a truly inclusive provider of 4-19 education in East Bristol and Bath.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual, who is a suitably qualified person, to join our science team as a senior technician. Ideally you will have a specialism or good knowledge, of chemistry.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced person to carry out a range of duties that will contribute to the effective delivery and development of excellent practical lessons in science, whilst coordinating the technician team and overseeing key aspects of the department such as health and safety.
The successful applicant will be expected to work flexibly and efficiently and to be able to work to frequent deadlines. The post will involve physical activity including lifting and carrying as well as basic IT tasks.
