We have an exciting opportunity for talented, dynamic and committed A level teachers to join our Sixth Form team.
You will deliver inspirational teaching and learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed in these subjects. You will plan and prepare innovative and effective lessons; assess and give feedback on a regular basis; mark and standardise work in line with exam board regulations; engage with internal and external moderation processes; monitor the performance of students against Alps target grades; and provide effective intervention strategies to ensure the success of all students in meeting or exceeding their target grade. We will be adopting a blended learning model from September so it is essential that you have strong digital literacy skills and are able to teach remotely.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can deliver across more than one A level subject. The subjects we are a recruiting to are as follows:
A level Biology
A level Environmental Science
A level Economics
Level 3 Financial Studies
A level Law
A level Mathematics
A level Psychology
A level Sociology
When completing your application please state which A level subjects you are applying for and are capable of teaching.
A relevant degree is essential and applicants must already have a teaching qualification. You will also have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a large team.
