Derby College are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support after school maths and English homework clubs starting in the new academic year.
To support after school maths and English homework clubs for KS4 (14-16). You will be working with young people from disadvantaged communities to raise aspirations and attainment, enabling them to progress into training or other post 16 opportunities. Sessions will include working with small groups or one-to-one. You will be supporting individuals with their needs in English, maths and develop social skills, sourcing suitable resources to accommodate specific homework tasks. You do not need to have knowledge of the school curriculum, simply a willingness to encourage, motivate and guide the students with their work.
