Sessional Rugby Coach
Coaching delivery £15 per hour
Travel rate: £10 per hour
An exciting opportunity has become available in the Sport & Public Services team at Coventry College.
Coventry College Rugby Education Programme has significantly grown over the past 16 years.
With a number of students enrolling onto the high performance study programme for this academic year, we are looking for an inspiring and innovative individual to coach in the delivery of the contact area of the game including the tackle, breakdown and the lineout.
The successful candidate will also support the development team with fixtures as well as the delivery and support for strength and conditioning across all players.
You will ideally be qualified with a relevant teaching or coaching qualification and RFU Level 2 Coaching, and have relevant vocational experience of delivering rugby union coaching principles for 16-18 year olds in an educational environment, and ideally you be available for an immediate start.
This role is based at the Alan Higgs Centre, Allard Way, Coventry, CV3 1HW
The current available hours are 11 hours per week:
Monday: 9am – 11am (2hrs)
Tuesday: 9am – 11am (2hrs)
Wednesday – Fixtures (3hrs) + 2 hrs travel
Friday: 9am – 11am (2hrs)
Academic Duration: 32 weeks
Start Date – September 2021
End Date – April 2022
