A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Derby College for a dynamic further education Teacher to join our successful and growing Early Years department, on a sessional hourly paid basis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and committed teacher who is passionate about developing and preparing students to gain the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the Early Years profession.
You will be expected to deliver high quality teaching, across different levels of study, and will have a relevant teaching qualification, and an appropriate Early Years qualification at level 3 or above. A relevant degree or equivalent level 6 qualification is also desirable.
You will be responsible for the planning of teaching and learning, student development and engagement, creating and marking assessments, supporting both individual and groups of students to develop and succeed, and managing student learning plans, and other course and student records systems. Excellent organisation, administration and interpersonal skills, together with a commitment to working flexibly and effectively as part of a team are also essential to this role.
