We are looking for a Sessional Teacher with a flexible approach to teach on our Innovative English Language Project. Nottingham City Council on behalf on the Midlands Engine Partnership is funding a pilot programme which targets English language needs for adults in or out of work in the Midlands Engine region.
You will be a dedicated and motivated professional ready to provide an innovative, dynamic and responsive delivery of ESOL to individuals, small groups, classes and using an on-line package.
You will have experience in delivering Skills for Life ESOL to adults in a variety of settings. Ideally, you will have experience teaching ESOL in the workplace, to JCP clients and in a community settting. You will have experience of delivering a range of levels from Pre Entry - Level Two. You will be responsible for planning schemes of work and lessons, setting and marking assignments, keeping learners' individual learning plans up to date and entering student data on our administrative system. Excellent administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team are also essential in this role.
