Bridgwater and Taunton College are looking for an outstanding individual to join our Engineering & Nuclear delivery team. The post of Learning Support Co-ordinator/Technician contributes to the positive work of the College in raising aspirations of students, delivering an outstanding learning experience. Supporting all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment for the Department, the successful candidate will ideally have subject knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
• Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Control & Instrumentation
• Electrical Power
We welcome applications from individuals without educational sector experience as support and training will be given to the successful candidate. Existing training or educational sector experience would be an advantage.
Bridgwater and Taunton College Engineering curriculum is supported by its National College for Nuclear (NCfN), Energy Skills and Advanced Engineering Centres, the Construction Skills and Innovation Centre at Cannington, a new University Centre in Taunton. In addition A £15m capital investment provides a state-of-the-art training facility for successful candidates to work, including a virtual reality environment, simulators and computer-equipped training rooms; recreation and collaboration space; sports facilities and student accommodation.
