As Student Counsellor you will provide a counselling service for students to include therapeutic, developmental, and preventative work in line with the British Association for Counselling's ethical framework. This will include supporting and advising other college staff in dealing with students who are experiencing difficulties.
You will hold a relevant professional qualification or be working towards accreditation by BACP or UKPC, with experience of counselling a range of client groups, including 16-19 year olds. You will work within the Student Services team and be expected to develop and enhance the skills required.
