What’s your idea of working in care? We’d love to share a glimpse of life at Salutem with you!
Firstly, let’s introduce you to the lives of the children and young people we support. Despite their disabilities the children we support live life to the max. In addition to providing education, therapy and care, we make sure we have lots of fun too. It’s common to find us having wheelchair dance offs, bake days, enjoying sensory and relaxation activities, as well as playing wheelchair football and going on trips to the cinema or bowling - and much more!
This really doesn’t sound like work does it? But the job you do could make the biggest difference, as you could be the reason our young people are able to live their best lives, and live a life to love, despite all their daily challenges.
We’re Salutem and we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of thousands of children and adults in England and Wales across our residential homes, schools and day centres.
Our Support team at Salutem encourage children and young people to fulfil a stable daily routine and achieve their best. The children and young people we look after may have disabilities or require complex care, but that doesn’t stop them from having fun, laughing hard and loving life.
We’re really excited to recruiting staff to our school, Beaumont College. We support young people from age 18-25 living with a range of disabilities to live their best lives despite the challenges they may face every day.
