Student Welfare Officer (term time 40 weeks)
We are looking for Student Welfare Officers to join our Welfare Team. You will possess the drive and experience necessary to support our students in overcoming any welfare related barriers to achieving their full potential.
You will work directly with students from across the College in response to welfare issues, liaising with relevant internal and external services, delivering a range of preventative interventions and contributing to Oldham and GM wide welfare initiatives. You will deliver a variety of levels of specific support including 1:1s and small group tutorials on bespoke welfare related issues. Your daily work will include monitoring of caseloads, liaising with internal and external specialists’ agencies, attending meetings, case conferences and EHCP Reviews when requested. You must be able to work flexibly and have access to a car to carry out home visits and off site meetings.
