Supervisor / Technician in Photography. Full Time. Permanent.
An opportunity has arisen for a full time Supervisor / Technician in Photography within our successful Creative and Performing Arts curriculum area. Reporting to the Programme Area Manager, you will be responsible for supporting high-quality teaching, learning and resources.
We are seeking candidates who are highly skilled and knowledgeable in the following aspects of photography;
- Photography equipment maintenance and repair
- Photography related health and safety, COSHH/ IOSH and risk assessments
- Ordering, cash handling and stock taking
- Exhibitions, Framing and preparing work for exhibiting
- Industry knowledge of film and digital cameras, film processing and printing, digital printing, studio lighting and flash
You will be required to support the curriculum staff in preparing materials and equipment and with in-class support, running studio open access sessions. The successful candidate will therefore have a high standard of team working, organisational and communication skills.
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom would be advantageous along with knowledge the Photography Arts Curriculum.
You will have an HND or Degree in Photography or a related subject with equivalent industry experience in the Photography sector.
