Supported Internship Lecturer (Students with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities)
Full Time and Fixed Term (1 year in the first instance)
£30,403 - £37,708 per annum incl. London Weighting Allowance per annum

We are currently looking for a lecturer to tutor a group of young people with learning disabilities on the Westminster City Council Supported Internship programme.
Based primarily at Westminster City Hall, you will work with our partners to develop and deliver an innovative and ambitious curriculum that will enable the interns to pursue their ambitiion of gaining substantial and sustainable paid employment.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience of working with and teaching young people with learning disabilities, and autism, on an employability focussed programme. You will have the ability to work flexibly as part of a multi-agency team to ensure high levels of responsiveness to students’ needs, and the ability to offer stimulating, stretching and individualised teaching to a consistently high standard. You will be able to deliver accredited learning, including work-based learning, and meet awarding body and internal moderation requirements. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and a positive approach to problem solving and innovation.
