Ysgol Y Deri is a Special School for pupils aged between 3 and 19 years, which caters for a wide and diverse range of differently able pupils. We have state of the art facilities, and work with every child as an individual, ensuring that their educational and therapeutic needs are met, enabling them to flourish both within our school and when they leave.

The governing body wish to appoint a caring, committed and enthusiastic class teacher. Whilst a background in special needs is not essential, a strong understanding of the curriculum, how it might be adapted and how it can be developed to enthuse all learners will be high on the list of requirements.

EWC Registration Details: It is a statutory requirement that applicants for these posts have to be registered with the Education Workforce Council before they can start work in a school.
